If you've decided to begin a CBD oil routine, then you are already aware of the many benefits CBD provides the body. However, faced with the many products on the market, you may be asking yourself, "How much CBD Oil Should I Use?". If this question has come up for you, you may want to look into the idea of smaller, more regular doses of CBD. It's aimed at saving money and getting into a routine. MICRODOSING FOR BEGINNERS
One of the common misconceptions about cannabis therapy is that you have to use a lot to attain symptom relief. The same is done with CBD. As a novel technique, there is little information and much confusion about CBD microdosing, especially for someone starting. To help make more sense of it, we've put together some information on CBD microdosing. The effective dose of CBD is lower than the dose usually associated with the psychotropic effects of THC. The adage "start low and go slow" is apropos for CBD, in general, as discussed by Caroline MacCallum and Ethan Russo in a January 2018 article in the European Journal of Internal Medicine. Microdosing cannabis is a feasible option for those who prefer not to leap over the intoxicating threshold. High dose CBD therapy is possible but may not be appropriate for all users. What quantities of CBD do you wish to take each day? There is no "average" serving of CBD, and your dose will vary depending on your needs. Most products range from just over 1 mg to up to 190 mg per serving. Also, many companies offer products in a range of application methods that affect how CBD is absorbed. Another component in choosing the product that is best for you is the price. With many products on the market right now, typically, the more you spend, the higher the CBD concentration in the product will be. How Much CBD Do I Need Each Day? Knowing the target CBD number that you would like to take each day helps give you a place to start when choosing your ideal CBD oil product. Our products fall into three potencies (concentration of CBD): low, medium, and high. Selecting a product that coordinates with your desired strength ensures you purchase a product that fits your individual needs. CBD oil tinctures offer the most accessible means of getting started with CBD hemp oil products. Using small doses of CBD regularly allows the user to understand the possible effects of the compound over time. It's still dependant on the size of dose, and many people are different. TOPICAL CBD Finally, some CBD hemp oil products are applied externally on the skin. These are called topicals and include products like lotions and salves. These products allow a focus where they are needed most without waiting for the cannabinoids to travel through the body. Follow a shower with a topical to ensure proper absorption. This application can fall under the heading of microdosing because certain lotions and balms carry a small amount of CBD, allowing the user to control the dosage with a small bead of lotion in the exact area they want to treat. Now more than ever, as a consumer, you have a choice in your CBD source. Learn more about CBD on our blog and make sure to visit our new page dedicated to first time users. Have a great week, and happy learning!
